DESCRIPTION:In this week-long\, half-day acting session\, students will work with a team of industry experts to explore the nuances of acting technique and performance. With a balanced combination of training\, rehearsal\, and performance\, young artists will take daily acting\, improvisation\, voice and speech\, and movement classes\, applying these skills in an original showcase presented at the end of the week for a small audience. This week is perfectly suited for students who are passionate about theatre\, excited to collaborate with peers and professionals\, and interested in expanding their theatre skill set. No previous experience required. Space is limited. \n \n\nDates: June 21 - 25\n\nTime: 9 AM - 12 PM \n\nTuition: $180*\n\nGrades: Rising 5th -7th\n\nLocation: Flat Rock Rock Playhouse\n \n\n*Payment options \n \n\nTuition payments can be completed in full online. \n \n\nPartial payments may be made over the phone by calling the Box Office at (828) 693-0731. A $25 deposit is required to secure a student's spot in the class. Full payment must be completed before the first day of camp.\n \n\n?Students and families that register for more than one class are offered a $25 discount for each additional class. This offer applies to multiple classes for one student or family discounts for siblings. \n \n\nA small number of full and partial need-based scholarships are available upon application for every tuition-based program at Studio 52 through the Dave Hart Scholarship Fund.\n\n?\n\nApplications for Summer Camps are due by June 1.
