That take-out restaurant quickly grew into a popular hangout spot\, well known for its hot dogs and specialty milkshakes.\n\nToday\, residents of King take great pride in the fact that the Dairi-O tradition started right in their backyard. The unique restaurant design with a giant milkshake and two straws is more than just a gathering place where people come to hang out with friends and family while enjoying a great meal\, it is a landmark of the community that commemorate the heritage of King and Dairi-O.\n\nMuch has changed from the day back in 1947 when Dairi-O first opened\, selling hotdogs and hamburgers fresh off the grill. Dairi-O now offers healthier options such as specialty salads\, grilled chicken wraps\, veggie burgers\, and more\, to provide our customers a wider variety of delicious food options.\n\nOne thing hasn't changed\, and that is Dairi-O's commitment to delivering fresh\, premium-quality food to our patrons in a fun and family friendly atmosphere!\n\n\n\nThank you to Duke Energy for sponsoring all events for the 2023 year!
