DESCRIPTION:AdventHealth Hendersonville is the first health system to be designated as an Age-Friendly Initiative Participant and the only health system in Western North Carolina to earn the Age-Friendly Committed to Care Excellence designation for each of its AdventHealth Medical Group locations across the region. AdventHealth earned these recognitions for its commitment to care for older adults through an essential set of Age-Friendly\, evidence-based practices that are consistent with the What Matters focus for older adults and their families.\n\n \n\nAdventHealth's latest step on this journey to provide whole-person care   body\, mind and spirit to older adults and the caregivers is our new Age-Friendly Center\, located at AdventHealth Medical Group Multispecialty at Laurel Park.  \n\n \n\nWe invite the community to join see these initiatives in practice when you join us for the ribbon cutting and open house.
