Adopt-a-Greenway Litter Sweep
When: Tuesday, March 10th, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Meet: Oklawaha Greenway parking area across from Berkeley Mills Park. Look for a Conserving Carolina sign to guide you to the parking area. Click here for a GPS pin.
The Oklawaha Greenway provides a green recreational space for the City of Hendersonville and we want to make sure it stays clear of litter! We will clean up litter along Conserving Carolina’s two-mile Adopt-a-Greenway section. Volunteers must be able to walk moderate distances (~3-miles) and may need to bend over to pick up trash. All tools and gloves will be provided.
What to Wear:
- Work pants, long sleeves; dress for the weather
- Close-toed shoes
What to Bring:
- Water, snacks
- Work gloves (if you have a personal pair)
