Flat Rock Cinema is celebrating 20 years of providing elevated movie experiences paired with quality food and craft beverages. Built from scratch in 2006 inside one of the “newer” classroom buildings (1951) on the 100-year-old campus of what was once Flat Rock High School.

Acquired by Bryan B² Byrd in 2023, Flat Rock Cinema continues its legacy of screening the best New Movies and has added Classic Film Anniversaries, LIVE Music, and Improv Comedy to the regular line up of experiences.

Every seat at Flat Rock Cinema allows patrons to enjoy elevated cinema fair including House Made BBQ & Slaw, Angus Cheeseburgers, Jumbo All-Beef Hotdogs, Giant Bavarian Pretzels, Garden Veggie Burgers, and our World-Famous Popcorn. Along with Coca-Cola fountain drinks Flat Rock Cinema also offers Craft Beer & Cider, Wine, Seltzer, and lemonade.

Since taking the helm at Flat Rock Cinema, B² and his Team has replaced the sound system, updated the projector technology, and invested in state-of-the-art accessibility devices for the hearing and sight impaired.
