Communications Specialist needed for Elder Law Firm in Hendersonville
Position Summary:
McIntyre Elder Law is seeking a warm, energetic, and highly organized Communications Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for our clients and community. You will support clients through the intake and onboarding process, assist with fee collections, and ensure smooth communication between clients and our case management team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Answer and route incoming phone calls with professionalism, clarity, and friendliness.
• Conduct daily in-office meetings with new clients to review fee agreements and guide them through the initial steps of the legal process.
• Handle legal fee collection and maintain accurate payment records.
• Set up new client files, ensuring all necessary documents are complete, organized, and ready for case management.
• Serve as a communication bridge between clients and case managers by relaying updates, gathering needed information, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
• Provide top-tier customer service with patience, empathy, and a solutions-focused mindset.
• Maintain a polished, upbeat, and welcoming presence in all client interactions—both in person and over the phone.
• Support the administrative flow of the office by assisting with scheduling, email communication, and basic office tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
• Strong interpersonal communication skills; able to build rapport quickly and professionally.
• Prior experience in customer service, administrative support, legal intake, or related fields preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
• Comfortable discussing fees, collecting payments, and explaining legal service steps.
